Operating procedures for optical microscope
1. During the experiment, the optical microscope must be placed on the left side of the table in front of the table, and the base must be about 6 ~ 7cm away from the table.
2. Turn on the light source switch to adjust the light source intensity to an appropriate size.
3. Rotate the objective lens converter to make the low power lens face the light transmitting hole on the stage. First, adjust the lens at about 1 ~ 2cm away from the stage, then gaze into the eyepiece with the left eye, then adjust the height of the concentrator to maximize the aperture light, and make the light enter the lens barrel through the concentrator, and the field of view becomes bright.
4. Place the glass to be observed under the load condition so that the observation part of the glass is located at the center of the light hole, and then use the sample clip to load the glass.
5. Observe with a power lens (objective lens 10x, eyepiece lens 10x). Before observation, turn the coarse focusing handwheel to raise the stage, and the objective lens gradually approaches the slide. It should be noted that the objective lens cannot contact the slide to prevent the lens from crushing the slide. Then, with the left eye in the eyepiece and the right eye closed (cultivate the habit of observing with the microscope when you open your eyes, so that you can look at the drawing with the right eye), turn the coarse focusing hand wheel to slowly lower the stage, and soon you can see the enlarged image of the substance in the glass.
6. If the object image seen in the field of view does not meet the experimental requirements (the object image deviates from the field of view), you can slowly adjust the moving handle of the stage. It should be noted during adjustment that the moving direction of the slide is just opposite to the moving direction of the object image seen in the field of view. If the object image is not clear, you can adjust the micro focus handwheel until the object image is clear.
7. If the high magnification objective lens is further used for observation, the part of the object image that needs to be enlarged for observation should be moved to the center of the field of view before switching the high magnification objective lens (when the low magnification objective lens is switched to the high magnification objective lens for observation, the range of the object image in the field of view is greatly reduced). Generally, microscopes with normal functions are focused with low magnification objective lens and high magnification objective lens. When the low power objective lens is used to observe clearly, the object image can be seen with the high power objective lens, but the object image may not be clear. It can be adjusted by turning the micro focusing handwheel.
8. After switching the high-power objective lens to view the object image, the size of the aperture aperture and the height of the condenser can be adjusted as required to align the light (generally, if the high-power objective lens is replaced with the high-power objective lens for observation, the field of view will become dark, so the intensity of the light needs to be adjusted).
9. After the observation, please remove the objective lens from the ventilation hole to maximize the aperture aperture, and then slowly drop the stage to check whether there are scars on the parts (especially if there is no oil or water or oil on the objective lens, please wipe it with lens paper). After the inspection, it can be packed.
